Today was just superb in Melbourne, it was a clear, crisp winters day with plenty of sunshine. Perfect for shopping, breakfast and coffee.
I mentioned on Twitter and Facebook that the Episode annual garage sale was on this weekend. You get a standard size canvas shopping tote and fill it for $20. I managed to bag- 5 dresses, 3 sweaters, a military anorak, leather jacket, 1 skirt and 2 pairs of leather boots. I’m looking forward to showcasing it on the blog this week for you. It’s certainly exciting to see how much you can organise into a piece of canvas with the promise of it only  costing you $20!
What I’m wearing:
Silk dress: Can’t remember the name of the shop, it’s in Lygon Court on Lygon St. I think it’s called ‘Silk Lane.’
Heels: Vicenza
Scarf: Pineda Covalin
Clutch: vintage
Sunnies: $1 from the Hampton Vinnies store. They had a whole box!
Earrings: Colette

I have to echo what has been said regarding the scarf. Very nice! Of course I am partial to the envelope style bag. Very class and easy to carry around.

Gracias Lady Melbourne you look divine.
Hi Lady M! Firstly, looking amazing! Episode’s garage sale sounded fantastic and I’ve loved your finds so far! Do you know of any other sales like this (the “fill the bag” idea)? I’m in Brisbane but I would travel to Melbourne JUST for this. Thank you! x
The earings look positively dangerous! Love it
I love that scarf on you. very bohemian chic but a little YSL with prints and the heels are amazing!
Amazing outfit. I love that you are so bold yet always classic. I imagine you stopped traffic.
Hi Lady Melbourne, I do not like Facebook or Twitter one bit, I find them irritating and mostly full of people showing off about nothing. Would you mind writing about fabulous sales like that one on your blog next time please???
And what stockings would you wear with this outfit if the sun went away!! I never know… thank you again for a great outfit.
Firstly fabulous outfit, I would expect nothing less Lady M. Secondly, I have been eagerly attempting to get my hands on the Peppermint Issue you covered and finally I found it available through Etsy! Now I’m eagerly awaiting its arrival!
I love the dress! Looks perfect on you too!

Lady M, your blog is fascinating! I am so glad I came across it. It’s great to see your vintage ensembles put to use. I have become a fan of yours for sure! Love the dress and scarf combo!
