People have derived inspiration from flowers for centuries now, it seems universal that we can relate to a beautiful floral arrangement. Artists, designers or the humble home decorator, we can see flowers turning up just about everywhere particularly when the seasons turn to spring.
When I saw these Viktor Vauthier photos of Edie Campbell for Tank magazine there was something so simply evocative of flowers in our everyday life.
Same idea behind Krystal Simpsons photos over on her blog What Is Reality Anyway. The everyday action of walking past the florist and hanging out with flowers in the front yard in full bloom.
I don’t mind adding photographs to my wall decal and it’s sort of special to be able to bring the outdoors inside with you. Or you could just wear a floral print on a pair of 80s denim shorts and spread the springtime love wherever you walk.
Check out all the images inspiring me this week over on Inner Circle.

Wow ! fabulous its really nice for reading .
Thank you for reminding me of the beauty of nature…I mostly don’t take it for granted… cut blooms in a simple or ornate vase can transport one to a moment of sheer bliss.
I can’t tell if this is a new or old photo! You look gorgeous and ladylike as always 🙂

I too love flowers. Love smelling the roses that line our garden. As they say, It’s important to take time to smell the roses!! I am inspired by flora. If I were to design a line of garments, I would definitely include a few pieces dedicated to the beauty of the Australian flora. Perhaps a vibrant yellow wattle inspired dress?
Thanks for this post. I enjoyed reading it.
