Aqua

In a late night online shopping jaunt recently, I decided I didn’t own enough pencil skirts. You know that twilight hour when you should just shut down the computer and go to bed but nothings happened on FB or Twitter, your inbox is overflowing so you just log on to ASOS.com or Etsy.

Normally that’s not when my best shopping is done but this one night in particular I found this skirt, and on sale mind you. I felt it was a little bit of a gamble (origami works, or it doesn’t) but I’m quite pleased and will wear this though summer.

I picked up this 100% silk tank at Silk Store in the Royal Arcade for $39.95. They don’t have a website unfortunately, in fact the receipt came on this little piece of paper printed so you could just make out how much it cost. Sweet.

What I’m wearing:
Silk tank: Silk Store, Royal Arcade Melbourne
Skirt: Aqua, from ASOS.com
Heels: Steve Madden
Necklace: Savers…I think, or an op-shop
Cuff: Minty Meets Munt
Earrings: Edenborough Evans
Lipstick: Topshop
Nails: Shellac

  1. Love love love the earings

  2. Ooh forget about the skirt; those earrings are so stunning!

Am terrible at online shopping; I need pieces that fit just right.

Looking good as always Lady M.

  3. That origami definitely works! The fabric looks like it will hold the shape well.

  4. I always see Aqua things on Asos and think “ooh that looks nice” but all the dresses I want from them are either too expensive for that kind of brand in my opinion, or black (I have far too many black dresses). 🙁 That skirt looks lovely though! I’d buy it if I didn’t have disproportionately large hips…haha!
