If there is one thing I am willing to admit about myself that inspires vanity, it is my hair. I don’t colour it and haven’t done so for the last 10 years, but I do everything I can to keep it in shape and love nothing more than swishing out of the hairdressers with a Kim Craig nee Day-esq ‘loving myself sick’ look on my face. It’s tragic, but there’s no point denying it.
I have never owned a ghd so when I was offered one to give away despite the fact that I already have dead straight hair I thought, ‘why not?’
I’m actually quite surprised with the results because I didn’t think that my hair could get any straighter or shinier(vanity remember) but: ta da!
To achieve this look I used the ghd purple peacock straightener that you can see in the photos above. I let my hair dry naturally and then turned it on and straightened it. That was it. No serums, no mysterious techniques or hand twists. And it took all of 10 minutes.
It’s not fair if I have all the fun so guess what? I’ve got one to give away on ghd!
