So Braccialetti Cruciani has hit Australian shores and I have the absolutely inside scoop on who/what/where/when to share with you. Hopefully by the end of this post you will be as excited as I am, not only because I’m sharing this with you exclusively BUT because you will have the chance to win some of these bracelets in the colour of your choice.
Before I get to that stage however I need to tell you about how these bracelets came in to exisitance, as was told to me by Janine from Miss Italy who is importing the label to Australia:
‘Arnaldo Caprai is the lacemaking company in Umbria in central Italy where the Cruciani bracelets are made. You can see straight away how traditional they still are by the look of the website and product!  The Cruciani brand (sits under the umbrella of Caprai). It was Arnaldo’s son, Luca Caprai, who invented the bracelets as a way of opening up the brand to a young, more style savvy customer. It’s modern folklore now, but the story goes that fans queued day and night outside the Cruciani store in Forte de Marmi (Tuscany) to get their hands on the four-leaf clover bracelet when it was first launched. The rest as they say is history….
Every product is made with the best yarn, sourced from all over the world, including cashmere, silk, wool and cotton, as well as the Diamante Rosso, which is the finest and longest cashmere fiber in the world. These precious raw materials are selected and then stored in what is in fact an ageing process that bring to life their inherent luster and quality.
The Cruciani C Bracelet was the idea of Luca Caprai and was created to communicate the Cruciani brand to a young and increasingly well-informed and demanding public and has become a global phenomenon. Cruciani C bracelets are made of macramé lace produced by the Arnaldo Caprai Gruppo Tessile, founded by Luca’s father, Cav. Del Lav. Arnaldo Caprai, and of course are proudly 100% Made-in-Italy.’
Retailing at $19 it’s not such a stretch that you could add multiples of this to your arm party, or that you could give them to your girlfriends as gifts. Wedding parties? Christenings? I love also that there is all manner of meaning in them- the four leaf clover in particular:
‘A wish for every four-leaf clover … a four leaf clover for every wish.Â
A symbol of hope and unexpected joy and luck, clover, all over the world, is associated with new events and happy. Because of the rarity, many people consider it to be a sacred plant and a powerful charm.Â
brings luck to those who find it and who receives it as a gift. According to tradition, each leaf represents a quality reputation first, the second wealth, health third and fourth sincere love.Â
An amulet for yourself or for your loved ones?’
Or, you may just like it as a fashion item!
Miss Italy and I have teamed up to give you the chance to win 5 x Cruciani bracelets of your colour choice. Amazing. Enough that you can keep them all for yourself, or choose for the special peeps in your life.
