With autumn here in Oz and winter on our doorstep, I thought it was high time I put together a little shopping list of some pieces that are the perfect for the trans-seasonal wardrobe.
I've found a way to curate a wardrobe that's a mix of vintage, op-shop, luxury and high street brands where you can get around feeling super glam, without breaking the bank.
So, I'm standing in the queue for the change room at Savers recently, which just so happens to be next to the racks of women's coats. I saw the lapel of this trench before I pulled it out, thinking, 'Hmmm, that trench looks interesting, got a sort of 70s vibe going on.' My eyes travelled down the sleeve to the button which looked a nice contrast to the olive green.
I love to hear stories about Melbourne based start-ups, specially when they manage to manufacture here as well. The candles are made using ecosoya wax, which is biodegradable and free from pesticides and herbicides. Using pure soy beans they contains no petroleum and then there's the heavenly scents created from oils.
It's probably not cold enough to wear this leather jacket from Boden yet, but I'm itching to get it out of the wardrobe and pair it with a pencil skirt, skinny jeans and ankle boots.
