As is my usual want one evening I was randomly searching Etsy for vintage delights and happened upon this print from Ecceprints. I really loved the humour and graphics, plus it was rather inexpensive too and so it I promtly added to cart.
I’d been collecting the crosswords that The Gardener and I do every Sunday over coffee with the idea that I would somehow make them into a piece of artwork or craft project. I was inspired by butterfly entomology and specimen cases so made a stencil and created these crossword butterflies.

Lovely pieces! What fabulous idea making your crosswords into pretty art work! 🙂
Love the graphic butterflies. So lovely! I’m going to have to make my own version.
This is so gorgeous Lady! Not only aesthetically, but is a beautiful reminder of all the lovely brunches you had with your Gardener. Makes me want to do a similar project for me and my Mister 🙂
