The blog has had a little face lift, can you tell? I like to think of it as a little refresher, a little botox, not the whole hog ‘I’ve-been-to-Thailand-on-holiday-but-really-I-went-to-the-Gold-Coast-and-had-a-face-lift.’
ANYHOW!
This dress is a recent purchase from Rogue Girl Vintage on Etsy and I found it after I’d bought the 70s dresses from Episode before it shut down. I loved the off the shoulder nature of the pattern, the embroidery, and the lace work. All my favourite things in a dress.
I’m wearing it with a pair of the ‘Anne Boleyn’ Susie Sawaya heels who’s a Sydney based shoe designer. All of her shoes are expertly made in Australia from high grade leather by local artisans. I love to discover Australian designers and especially ones that manufacture here on our shores. It can’t be easy to compete with offshore manufacturing in such a competitive retail environment so I applaud Susie and encourage you all to check out her beautiful shoes.
What I’m wearing:
Dress: Etsy
Bag: Vintage Valentino, also purchased on Etsy
Heels: ‘Anne Boleyn’ from Susie Sawaya
Manicure: Miss Fox Melbourne
Ring: A gift from The Gardener
