We all know I love lace, correct? Imagine my delight when this number turned up in the mail from Fame & Partners who specialise in formal, cocktail and special occasion dresses.

I’m late to the trend of two-piece outfits, not really thinking that it would flatter my body shape but it’s all in the cut I believe. If the top was any shorter, I probably wouldn’t have worn it, but with the slits in the skirt, the length of both pieces and the block colour I think (hope!) it works.

You might recall from my previous post (I always have to resist writing, ‘here’s one I prepared earlier’) where I was talking about the business of buying shoes online from the US. Well these leopard beauties are from another one of my fav brands DV by Dolce Vita that I purchased from Amazon. I haven’t seen the brand for sale in Australia which is such a shame because they’re all leather, and beautifully made. Now I know my size in the brand, shopping online has become quite easy, not going to let a little thing like geography get in my way!
