When I was a kid, I wrote and passed notes prodigiously. I drew pictures, wrote songs, anything that would fit in a note I could send back and forth between my friends. In high school, before mobile phones(take a deep breath) we would pass notes to each other between classes, to the point where we just got an exercise book that we wrote in so we were never caught reading the illicit material in class.
Anyhow, it all ties in with two of the nicest things that have happened to me in the space of a week or so, and it all relates to my readers.
The picture above is of a little note that was passed to me by a waitress at at restaurant where I was having dinner about a week ago.
She didn’t say who it was from so I nervously opened it to find this sweet note. I never met ‘Fi’ but whoever you are, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This note made my day.
The dress I am wearing in today’s post also came from a reader who said she had a ‘something for me.’ I had no idea it would be two of the loveliest vintage dresses I’ve ever seen!
Her note said she hoped I would enjoy them and get much wear out of them. Understatement of the year!! I just adore them both, thank you so much for reading and being part of the Lady M family.
