Earlier in the year while holidaying on the Gold Coast, it just so happened that there was a vintage fair on while I was there. Complete coincidence peeps, but who was I to refuse and invitation?
I picked up this Mexican smock for $35 and I really, REALLY am in love with it for Summer. Currently stalking others like it on Etsy because you know, why own one of something when you could have an endless supply of Mexican smocks in your life? 😉

Love it! I’m going through a bit of a Frida phase and am hoarding smocks like this one en masse
Love the embriodered detail! it highlights your face and worn with dark clothing tight to the skin which would genenrally cut a sharp figure but with this area of Poncho it softens the whole figure and makes your silohuette alot softer and appears fitter.
Lovely piece – really like the embroidered detail on it 🙂

When I was in Mexico I was blown away by the gorgeous hand made textiles in Mexico. They were so brightly coloured and detailed it was hard not to walk away without buying some for me and gifts for my loved ones.
Hey Phoebe,
Although they’re not smocks, you should check out Little Tienda. http://www.littletienda.com.au/
Em imports beautiful blouses, dresses and other textiles from Mexico.
Merry Christmas, Luna. 🙂
Hi girl 🙂
It is finally snowing, and becoming really Christmas over here. I spent it on the beaches of Surfers Paradise almost 10 years ago…spending it on a beach with no snow was really weird 🙂
Hope you have a great week!
