Gold, gold, pleats and gold. It was on a whim that I posted a picture to Instagram of a gold pleat skirt and asked if any of you knew where I could find a similar beauty to call my own.
Well, what a response! You guys have sure got some great sleuthing abilities, within 24 hours I had abundant options with everything from vintage and high street to designer threads. I’ve put together a shopping edit along with inspiration pictures in this post, but I’m pretty excited to say I have project coming up where I’ll be making a gold skirt in collaboration local Melbourne manufacturers. That’s all I can say at this point, but stay tuned this week for updates with lots of photos!
